Chlorinated wax is made by chlorination of refined paraffin oil. It is an odorless, non-toxic, light-colored chlorinated hydrocarbon.

It is an excellent secondary plasticizer and flame retardant in the plastic industry. It can be used in PVC, PP, PE, ABS, PS, etc., and can also be used in paint, adhesive, rubber and textile industries. Chlorinated wax has high chlorine content and good compatibility with petroleum base. It is a good extreme pressure additive in metal processing oil.
